Kept in this browser only. Contact and WiFi codes are never kept here, because they hold personal details.
For business cards
- The more fields you fill, the denser the code. For a small card, keep the essentials: name, phone, email.
- Give your printer the SVG or PDF (vector) so it stays sharp at any size.
- To match your card, change the dot color and keep the background light. Check that the stamp says it scans before printing.
How it works
- Enter the contentPick a type such as URL, WiFi or contact and fill in the fields. The preview updates as you type.
- Style itTap a preset to change shape, colors and frame at once. Add your logo and frame text if you like.
- Check and downloadMake sure the stamp on the sticker says it scans, then download PNG, SVG, PDF or EPS, or print a sticker sheet.
Why it is free and never expires
There are two kinds of QR code. A static code holds your link inside the image, so the phone goes straight there. There is no server in between, so nobody can switch it off. A dynamic code holds a short link of the provider and passes through their server on every scan. That lets you change the link and count scans later, but it can stop working when the subscription ends.
Staycode only makes static codes. They never expire, and the site is paid for by ads, not by you. The trade-off: you cannot change the link after printing, so for content that may change, point the code at a page you control.
Questions people ask
Does scanning save the contact automatically?
The phone shows an "Add contact" screen and the person scanning taps Save. Name, phones, email, company, title, address and note each go in their own field.
Do accents and non-Latin names work?
Yes. The vCard 3.0 data is stored as UTF-8, so any name works.
The code is too dense for my business card.
More fields make a denser code. Leave out the address and note, or use a URL code that points to your contact page; it stays easy to scan on a small card.
Can I add more than one phone number?
Yes. Use "Add another phone" for mobile, work, home or fax.
