About Staycode
Staycode makes QR codes that keep working after you print them, styled as well as on paid sites, with no sign-up.
Why we built it
Many people search for a free QR code, print it, and find days later that it stopped working and wants payment. That happens because those sites make dynamic codes that pass through their server by default and switch them off after the trial. Staycode only makes static codes: your link goes inside the image and never passes through this site.
What you can do
- URL, text, WiFi, contact, email, SMS, phone, location, event and WhatsApp codes
- Dot and eye shapes, gradients, logo, frames with text, error correction level and quiet zone
- PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF and EPS downloads, and A4 sticker sheets
- Bulk generation of up to 1,000 codes from a list or CSV
- A scan check that reads back the image you just made
- A scanner that shows the address before opening it
What it does not do
It does not change links after printing or count scans. Both would require every scan to pass through this site, so the code would stop if the site did. You can count scans in your own analytics with UTM tags.
